Dream.
Have a cocktail or two …or three. Lounge on the beach, thinking about nothing and everything. Stand in a sunset so beautiful you’d think you were on another planet. Take in the good music and congratulate yourself on feeling truly happy. Take long romantic walks without gazing into your phone. Take cool photos. Drink a bottle of wine with friends under the full moon. Use this time to recharge and laugh.
But more than that here’s what you should do:
- Eat anywhere. Especially breakfast – all the good things you can do to an egg on a plate.
- Consume any frizzante and mimosa drinks you can manage. I did that all day and then some.
- Listen to the cool day music at Acolo and Amphora beach.
- Go dancing at Expirat or Stuf beach.
- Eat any kind of weird fish at Cherhana. Mine had green fish bones.
- Enjoy a glass of wine at night at Yuva beach bar.
- Lay under the Summer sun while you listen to cool 40s through 60s music at Plaja de Carte.
- Take all the salty sea air in, wash your hair only under the waves and come back home with leftover sand in your shoes. Buy a hippie bracelet and take it with you everywhere. Remember to fucking enjoy your sunny days and worry about nothing. Even if your hair gets curly and tangled. Forget about those pounds you’ve put on for the last couple of months. Nobody is going to remember that, only how much you’ve enjoyed a sunset with clear glass water that seemed like a dream.

Thank you for making it this far.
All the photos were shot with my Huawei phone (so awesome), my first post without my camera. I was too busy enjoying myself to actually make room in my big bag for my Canon. But I did use it, just for a day. All about that in my next post, featuring two of my favorite beaches in Vama Veche.
See you soon 🙂 Don’t forget to follow me for more travel and fashion posts
