New year and I start to live in the past. So much so that I’ve added a new vintage Marc Jacobs clutch to my collection. Pussy bow and all. It is dusty grey, has plenty of room for my huge wallet and my phone when I go out. Isn’t that what vintage means? Stuck in the past? I’m stuck again.
Winter seems to never end, but this year I will enjoy the journey to Spring. Black puffer jackets and all. And a lot of skirt worn with my favorite, again, vintage suede boots. What else can I do? This “stuck in the past” thing is what I suffer from now. The end of the pandemic has seen a surge in all sorts of ailments, mine are holding me in the past and are very much connected to who I used to let go a long time ago, but I will embrace again my melancholy companion, no need in denying who I really am to the core.
