It’s the subtlety of being a fashionable #goth. Not full on addicted to the aesthetic, but just enough to identify as one. I’m all about subtle nods and wearing lots of black. Nods to goth accessories, but also everything designer, in black of course.
I also love blending designer and really affordable, it’s a pleasure thinking that if certain things have a direct meaning to me, I will wear them. It’s a certain intention of mine, as I very much like to stay true to my original teenage roots, where I would love fashion but certainly didn’t have my own money.
To choose willingly to embrace a darker side, it needs to stay true to how that dark side first appeared, how it influenced your beliefs and why was it embraced. Turning dark into light, but still remaining strong in what brought you there.
As always,
I was wearing: Trench Coat // Ralph Lauren, Dress // About You, Heels // Steve Madden, Bag // New Yorker, Bracelet // Alexander McQueen, Skeleton Earrings // random.
