Alberobello is a little commune in the South of Italy (known as Apulia region) that is very different in its architecture. The cute little trulli houses are part of the UNESCO world heritage since 1996. Come with me and visit this truly magical little city. It’s only 90 minutes away from Bari, by train or bus.

My birthday was a week ago. In celebration of that I planned a trip with my girlfriends to get away and get lost in 4 little towns in the South of Italy. I’m beginning our Italy journey with this very first post from Alberobello.

Wearing Boots in Spring & Peonies!

Extremely unusual, colder than the rest, humid in essence. This is Spring around here. Cold, rainy and refusing to let the sunshine in. What’s a girl to do? Continue to wear her Winter boots and add a touch of sass.

It may seem that this is the only skirt I wear (and it is, the hat too), I am not a skirt wearer by nature. My legs out are more fit for skinny jeans. But today I’m making an exception because it’s peony season, my favorite season of the year. With the most beautiful peony bouquet in my hands (it was a lot to handle, I had to use two) I pranced around for half an hour taking these photos.

The Suit

Este prima oară când port un costum. Oriunde. Prima oară trebuie sărbătorită pe blog. (Hey! Hey!) Și pentru că primăvara aceasta este una foarte înflorată (nu că altele n-ar fi fost) am decis să îmi port costumul printre flori (ca deobicei) și pe străzi singuratice, care deobicei nu sunt așa de singuratice dacă nu ar fi fost aceste zile libere de Paști.

O viziune în negru și alb, un pic boho, un pic glam, un pic high-end. Toate la un loc. Un astfel de costum se poate purta și cu teniși, dar eu nu mă pot lipsi să nu mă ridic la înălțimi pe cele mai înalte tocuri. Mă îndoiesc că în curând acest costum îmi va lipsi dgarderoba de fiecare zi, mai ales la office.

Oh, You Spring

Oh, Spring. That time of the year where I find the time to literally immerse myself in all the pretty pink flowers in every tree, every bush and every pink magnolia tree I can find. A show off of my usual colorful photographic prowess. And because this early Spring hasn’t been quite warm, I had a last chance to wear my favorite winter cozy jumper, bought on sale this very past Winter.

I knew I had to bring a little pastel to my Spring look, so decided to wear nudes and accessorize with Chanel and Kors. Make-up… almost light, lips matte.
