When I was 12-13 I used to spend my Summer breaks in my mother’s closet. Before I discovered my black/edgy self, before Brit Pop came into my life, before I would allow myself to become someone cool. I used to walk in her heels, listen to Celine and Mariah and read Danielle Steel romance novels. What can I say, those were the mid 90s. Before Britney came along and changed everything.

Yes, I’m back to my boho roots, this time with all my vintage pins in one place, because why not? I’ve got sparkle, sass and a little bit of class. See what I did there? I’m in a very cheerful mood because it’s almost Summer, this year is happening so fast and I have the travel itch now.
Getting close to “Save the date” events. What do you wear to a special occasion? Do you go for dresses, skirts or pants/jumpsuits? Usually most of us learn very young that going to an occasion deserves a red carpet dress. That isn’t necessarily true today. For the past three years I’ve been choosing to opt for more stylish alternatives, not princess-y gowns that not only aged me, but really did not suit my petite frame.
I just could not pass the opportunity to have a photo shoot with my bouquet of peonies. They are my favorite flowers and since then had another big bouquet for our living room. I got myself ready, wore a simple style and some vintage accessories. These jeans and navy shirt are my “go to” basics, a simple canvas where accessories can be played with and stand out.
