That perfect, power blazer. That’s what I thought when I saw it in a thrift shop, right around our street corner. Perfect condition and a Ralph Lauren. It’s beautiful manly cut and beautiful crest buttons, classic pattern and a patch of velvet on the back collar. So today I’m bringing another office look: if you need inspiration for that power meeting you may be too afraid to over-dress or lack the effort to impress.
After a snow filled March, Spring has really sprung and already we have trees and flowers in full bloom. #orthodoxeaster was just last weekend and we had a few days off. We had friends over a barbecue party among other fun activities. One day was spent outside the city, up in hill terrain. Up there is where we shot these photos and I wore vintage and thrift from head to toe, except my sneakers.

In 2010 I found myself in London working for a month. Came back after 5 more times until November 2011 and returned in 2016. I was in the biggest open plane office on the 12th floor, right next to Paddington station, I had new people around me, from all over the world and I was scared. I was sent alone, I knew nobody there and I always dreamed, since 6th grade, to live in London. Not just visit, live there. I was dropped by the Green Line bus and met by two of my Romanian colleagues at Marble Arch station, right in front of Primark. As I entered the offices a future colleague greeted and asked: “Are you from the BBC?“. I had my luggage with me and seemed official, I guess. “No, I’m not“, I answered.
