I love getting back to nature. This past Sunday I met up with Diana again and went our merry way through all the parks in our town to find a Spring setting for this post. I plan on getting back to nature more, now that nature will be in full bloom and get lost in upcoming Summer sunsets and natural sunlight.
You know those in-between weeks, in-between seasons? I hate them! Now transitioning from Winter to Spring, those weeks can’t seem to make up their minds: is it cold, warm, windy, sunny, breezy or all at the same time? They really mess with my outfit moods.
I cannot wait for trees to bloom, birds to sing and bugs to fly. Looking forward to long walks in the parks, drinking my morning coffee in our backyard with the cats playing around, riding my bike more than 30 minutes everyday and leisurely drinks on Sunday afternoons.
Today I’m taking a pause from my pretty face and lady looks to bring you a special post dedicated to the men in our lives.
The 88th Academy Awards are this Sunday, February 28, 2016. I know I will be digesting the fashions on the Red Carpet over coffee the next day – reading, watching videos, seeing the winners. Me in my PJs, looking at glamorous gowns. Usually it takes all day, but what a fun day. I could stay up and watch, but E! has a whole week of Oscar reruns, so I won’t be bothered.
I know many of you girlz will be looking at everyone’s favorite boy right now, Leo. I hope he gets that Oscar already. But only because everyone is talking about it and I’m sick of it. By the looks of it, half of the battle is already won, having the internet lobby for him this year. The Academy usually gives it to actors dedicated to their craft. A little over a year ago, when I started this blog, my first post was from Szeged, Hungary. It’s only an hour away from here. This weekend saw us returned there, this time with friends and our leisurely plans included hanging out at the spas, dranking rosés (me mostly), eating fish goulash (not me) and turning in early, because apparently Szeged has no night life whatsoever.
It was a quiet, relaxing weekend full of sun. Spring is here, trying it’s best to overcome Winter. I packed a few things for this two day trip, knowing I would be too lazy to dress cute or wear complicated make-up. I chose a perfect kitty rocker chick ensemble: my boots (very comfortable, ’cause we walked plenty), my skinny jeans, my faux leather jacket and my kitty shirt. Anything kitty/cat related I buy. I don’t have a big pout, but I work with what mother nature gave me. I love my lips as they are and like colors that compliment my face and eyes.
