Ah… Summer in London. With long, cool, breezy nights. Summer in the city is something else. If you’re planning to see the city from above, Sky Garden is the free place to book. Located in the Fenchurch Building or the Walkie-Talkie, the garden is huge and you will enjoy plenty of 360 views. Last time our very high experience was enjoyed during the day. This time we made a booking at night, and the difference was quite spectacular. There’s live music and lots of people enjoying themselves in the dark, with only dim lights to guide you, so as not to eclipse the amazing London city lights at night. New year and I start to live in the past. So much so that I’ve added a new vintage Marc Jacobs clutch to my collection. Pussy bow and all. It is dusty grey, has plenty of room for my huge wallet and my phone when I go out. Isn’t that what vintage means? Stuck in the past? I’m stuck again.
The most beautiful Autumn sunset in Holland Park. A walk through Notting Hill. Beautiful white houses and lots of fallen leaves. This is my London: an escape into not so busy streets, posh corners and beautiful parks. A warm Autumn day, cloudy at first, right before the clouds gave way to a gorgeous sunset. I was very much in a dusty grey mood, with my dusty grey favorite jeans paired with a cute chiffon top. By the end of the day everything was basking in this orange yellowish sunset light, making way to a very strange tone in light coming down all over London. Loved it.
