Happy New Year!
What better way to bring in the new year than with some crazy hair change. I’ve always wanted to do pink in my hair, or maybe even lavender (next time).
On December 30 I had a hair appointment and decided to go wild. I’m not very opinionated about whatever crazy color or haircut I’m doing to my hair, but I’ve had over the years one or two that I’ve regretted doing right after. And some haircuts are a bitch to grow. I thank my mom and grandmother for this pretty face, that’s why I can pull off 90% of whatever whim I have that day. Is there anything more pleasurable than chocolate cake? Yes, chocolate cake and whiskey cream. Doing this cake on Christmas Eve, to be shared with friends and family, I realized I’m giving myself a cure for every sugar craving from now until forever. I think this will become my favorite dessert and I will keep making it from now on. Even making muffins out of it next time. It is that awesome. And simple. Today I’m sharing a super easy salad – my very own recipe. The main ingredient is surimi or crab sticks. If you do not like surimi you can use smoked salmon, or both – and you can double the yummy pow.
Surimi or crab sticks are a paste made from fish or other meat. It is available in many shapes, forms, and textures, and often used to mimic the texture and color of the meat of lobster, crab, and other shellfish.
