Classic Office Look With A Modern Twist

Just like the title says, today’s post is about that: blending modern pieces with classics and timeless. You can find my previous office look here.

If you recently saw the shoe trend that switched from Yeezys to transparent then you are a very up to date modern girl. I’m not saying that the Yeezy heels are out of style, further from that, but this latest transparent shoe trend really caught my eye. Because I LOVE it. Kim K stepped out this Summer in many, many transparent shoes: from very thigh high boots to any type of heel you can think of. Transparent. I lived for them.

I looked over to Sammydress and they had these cute, kitten heel slippers that would give me a bit of a height and were perfect for any office look. Because this July I went back to an office job and since then get to play dress-up everyday. It is better than working from home in my pj’s. Talk about glamorous office attire. Modern twist in these shoes, accessories (tropical palm everything – another obsession) and my always super matte lips. Pairing a classic trench and a stripe top with a good pair of pants/jeans has always been my classic combo since forever.

p.s. After work Mr. Casual Cat picked me up and we went to his mother’s house. I had to have myself near these beautiful little blue flowers that are everywhere in her garden.
