I’ve been many, many, many times to Budapest. And every time with different people. It’s a beautiful capital city, with a wonderful night life. And it’s just three hours away from where I live.
Budapest hosts the famous Sziget Festival in the Summer and it has the famous ruin bars. Mostly this is why I’m drawn to it almost every year. If you are not a night owl like me, and prefer a much quieter life, you can enjoy the famous spas and pools and lounge all day long in the Gellért Thermal Baths.
The Danube river offers great views of the city also. This time our Airbnb was the closest to the river, a huge historical building full of sunlight and great views. The Christmas markets were already open and so close to us. We spent two days this time in Budapest, roaming the streets all day and night and having a blast, as you will see in the photos below. I was all smiles and happy.
p.s. Stop at the Intercontinental Budapest Hotel and splurge in their desserts and coffee.
As always,
I was wearing: Puffer Jacket // Donna Karan, Denim Shirt // thrifted, Jeans // Reserved, Tweed Scarf // Primark, Backpack // Zara, Boots // Zaful.
