Such a Sucker For Jeans and Heels

I’m such a sucker for skinny jeans and heels. Maybe because I’m petite and I’m so used to walking in them all the time. Which is not a bad thing, it is one of my super powers, as I do not know many women who wear high heels ALL the time.

Today I’m Cinderella. Or Dorothy. I have the most gorgeous heels, but they are not red. But they do have crystals. I think I’ve previously mentioned that I rarely do dresses and skirts. Today I’m showing you, again, my dark side. You don’t have to be the classic Cinderella going to her ball. Choose to be yourself and claim it. For years I’ve reinvented myself and changed as my mood fit. But now mostly I am returning to my inner witch, the forever blonde witch. And I have the shoes to match.

May Peonies

Everything falls into place.

I have waited for this moment all Spring: the chance to pick and hold these super gorgeous peonies once again, take a kazillion pictures with them and around them. I grabbed my Louis Vuitton and my new trench (which only now had the chance to wear) and left our quarantine for some sunshine and pink happiness. These peonies grow in the garden of my boyfriend’s mum. She has a lot to spare every May. I still could not pick them all, not enough hands.

Ever since we’ve been travelling to Greece (last year and five years ago), since this quarantine started, I have been drawn again to cooking this super easy, super filling Mediterranean recipe that is like soul food for us Europeans. It was about time it had a little space on my blog and be presented to you properly, because now I am make it constantly.

It has everything you need: meat, vegetables, potatoes, eggs and a lot of nutmeg. I love, loooveee nutmeg. I think without it, this recipe is just not worth it. Let’s begin! And indulge.

First Day Of Spring

It is the first time this year that I’m surrounded by nature. No big city lights. I have my little places where I like to shoot for my blog and they never disappoint. Too bad Winter is still here to stay, but I did see some magnolias along the way that are ready to pop. Today may be the first day of Spring, but I don’t see the cold leaving anytime soon. Let me tell you something: you can be anyone’s Valentine. Those include, but are not privy, to: girlfriends, friends, mothers, brothers, colleagues, cousins, pets, boyfriends, best friends, fathers. In a nutshell those who are your person. Those who define you, make you and sometimes break you, for your own good.

I am not big on this day, as where I live we don’t actually celebrate it. Love should be celebrated everyday, if you ask me. But it’s a favorite time to get my make-up on and dress accordingly. I don’t do big bows and red hearts. I choose black. Although my heart is not.
