Happy New Year!
Always late to the party. But never the one to leave early. Since they say that the New Year is a time for new beginnings, I say forget about that and make your own beginnings. They don’t even have to be beginnings really. In my case, I will continue being myself. I would very much like to continue to live more and have great outfits doing so.
It’s been two years since I last saw Budapest. Two years in which a lot has changed. Two years in which the world has changed. It’s Halloween weekend. I don’t have a costume. This black outfit along with a very dark make-up will do. If you’re looking for inspiration, don’t wear it during day time. For the sake of my blog I did, and it was very sunny, and would you believe it or not, there were plenty of people around in the woods, because of said very sunny day. That was unfortunate.
I have a hard time believing my hair grew this long this past two years. It is one of the many pandemic changes that slipped into my life. I have no reason (for now) to keep cutting, as I did many years before. I have new ideas now how to wear it in a bun.
But not today. Today it has its natural shape and curl. Messy chic. If you’re into curls, look for some messy inspiration here, I am no wizard in having long, perfect curls. It doesn’t work like that. Even with product and a good curler, the messiness persists and the curls do their thing by the end. And moisture is the enemy.
